9/11

It has been 8 years since the attacks on the US have occurred. Seems as though not much has changed really. Yes we pay tribute to those that lost their lives but we still have a problem paying tribute to those that are living. We still have no idea how fragile life can be. I can give you lots of examples of how people mistreat other people. Why can we not learn from the past? Driving in to work this morning I noticed people unwilling to 'let me in' or to yield. Why does it take a terrorist attack for people to be nice for a few days? Why is everyone so nice to each other around Christmas time? Why can't we always be nice to people? I know I am not perfect but I do try to be the best person I can be. Although sometimes difficult, I try to promote peace and equality.

I am looking forward to this weekend. It will be the fist time we are all going camping. Should be very interesting. I will sure keep you posted on the event. I will be leaving for our nation's capital on Monday for a week of training. I am looking forward to that.

Till the next time, give peace a chance! (John Lennon)
